BATTLEFIELD EARTH: A HIT AT THE WORLD’S LARGEST BOOK FAIR

Frankfurt, Germany: Welcome to the world of books. With more than 300,000 publishers, book sellers and book buyers in attendance, the recently concluded Frankfurt International Book Fair was one of the largest trade conventions in the history of the book industry.

Among the major items of interest at the book fair was Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000 by L. Ron Hubbard. Publishers are keenly aware of the impact a major motion picture can have on their book sales. Therefore, the interest in the bestselling novel was intense with the announcement that the Battlefield Earth movie will be released in the US on May, 2000.

Already published in 20 languages, the popularity of L. Ron Hubbard’s bestseller continues to grow, as publishers in five additional countries signed contracts in Frankfurt with Author Services, the agency that represents all of the works of L. Ron Hubbard.
